Join us in exploring one of St Helen’s haunted hotspots. Mill Street Barracks is steeped in history, whispers and mystery and was once home to volunteer rifle corpse, searchlight units, a hospital, morgue and even a TB isolation ward.

Over the years, visitors have reported:

• Apparitions of soldiers, nurses and nuns.
• A restless three-legged dog.
• Strange sounds – footsteps, slamming doors, whistling and voices echoing through empty corridors.
• An oppressive atmosphere in former morgue/cellar areas, and unexplained temperature drops.

What’s Included?

Work in small personal groups.

Take part in a number of activities such as, Victorian séance, technical vigils etc.

You will have access to ghost hunting equipment needed to take part in activities. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment if you wish.

A friendly, experienced team on hand, to help and guide you throughout your night.

Refreshments are included in the ticket price and are available on the night during scheduled break times. To reduce costs and to help the environment, we ask that you please bring a reusable cup.

Event & Arrival details

There is no onsite parking at this event but a small car park is located on Mill Street, opposite the Barracks. There is also nearby on-street parking. You are responsible for your car and belongs. Do You Believe Paranormal will not be held liable for any misuse of the local parking. Please park responsibly.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the event start time. Once the event has started, you will not be granted access.

Further details will be sent out to guests, 1 week before the scheduled event.

Not suitable for pregnant women.

Suitable, flat footwear must be worn due to uneven surfaces. No heels.

Paying for your event

Events can be paid in full, or with a £20 deposit. If using our deposit option, your balance must be paid within 4 weeks of the event. We also offer the option of using Klarna or Clearpay.
